New Moon Kitchen was born when Eden Hertzog was fresh out of high school, trying to figure out what to do with her life. A passionate vegan baker who held a part-time baking job throughout her last years of high school, she decided to try selling her baked goods as a way to make some cash for a trip to California. She originally named the company “Eden’s Edibles” and her dad delivered the goods across town from the back seat of his car. The products were an instant hit, and before she knew it, Eden had herself a little business she had never formally planned for. Sometimes life figures it out for you… She’s also, still, just saving money for trips to California.
Their Toronto facility is completely free of all dairy, eggs, nuts, and peanuts. We are certified kosher parve which means none of our ingredients have ever touched manufacturing lines with dairy present. All of our suppliers have been audited for their status as nut and peanut free, to ensure none of our ingredients have come into contact with nuts or peanuts. We are proud to call our treats school safe.
